.......and they say there's a heaven for those who will wait
some say it's better but I say it ain't
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints,
the sinners are much more fun...
- Recording artist Billy Joel
If I don't go to hell, who will? If going to hell can save the innocent or wake them up to open their eyes, I'm willing to go there, join my friends and play majong.
- Master Peter Leung
If you're going to be a bad person, be the worst you can be,
because when the cycle turns and balances
you'll be that much more the better.
- Michio Kushi
To hell with the saints
To hell with the sinners
Pass the wine bottle please.
- The drunken Poet
I've seen and heard and read of saints and sinners
and I've even spoken with a few
and in conclusion I must admit
there ain't much difference between the two.

I'm gonna tell a little secret
if you promise not to tell
If you wanna get to heaven
you gotta raise a little hell.
- Popular 70's song lyrics
If you see the face of a saint, tell him to turn around
and you'll be starring at the face of a sinner.
Never trust them two-faced bastards.
- Unknown Poet
Saints and Sinners...what is the difference ?
It is nothing more than walking a tight-rope ...
nothing more than a balancing act.

A good man is a bad man's teacher.
- Lao Tzu
And the list goes on and on and on. There are some who have not fallen for the deceptive mirage that various institutions have painted. They understand the energetic dichotomies of good-bad, heaven-hell, saints-sinners. Some understand it and know it as two sides of the same coin. If you would like to read a tremendous amount of material on the absurdity of saints and sinners look at some of Osho's writings. If you are a Jesus freak however, you may want to stray from Osho. He doesn't have a whole lot of nice things to say about Jesus.......and he's not all that fond of Mother Teresa either. If you have your own slogan or saying you would like to add...feel free to send it.

"They say that Heaven is like TV
A perfect little world
That doesn't really need you
And everything there
Is made of light
And the days keep going by
Here they come, here they come
Here they come.
Strange angels- singing just for me
Old stories - they're hunting me
This is nothing
Like I thought it would be"

Some people walk on broken glass
Some just walk round and round

Some just keep falling down"

You know him by the way he smiles
The day the devil comes to getcha
He's a rusty truck with only twenty miles
He's got bad breakes, he's got loose teeth
He's a long way from home.
Give me back my innocence
Get me a new Cadillac
Cause when I get on up to Heaven Lord
You can have it all back
Cause in Heaven you get it all back
In Heaven it all comes back
Cause in Heaven, you get it all back

Andy, just to add some more "salt" to your post :-)
Kind regards,
P & S
Hi P & S
Thanks for the additions. I never heard of Laurie Anderson before but she sounds very interesting. I will definitely check out her lyrics. Mark Twain once wrote a beautiful piece on the fallacy of religious dogma that kind of reminds me of Laurie's lyrics.
Andy, I really hope you'll enjoy Laurie Anderson's music.
She's been around for quite a while, but she's better known in Europe and Japon.
She still gives concerts in New York :-)))
You should see her video "Home of the Brave" which, I guess, was released back in mid. 80's.
Great lyrics and music (and performance, of course).
Kind regards,
P & S
PS. You should ask Shao to take you to her concerts :-)
If I can get Shao away from his wine bottle I'll see if he wants to go to her concert. He's been to the horse race-track with me several times and we have had a lot of fun there together. I'm not joking.
Hi Andy,
I'm just curious. How do you know the person that you communicated with (I supposed) in your dream is Shao Yong?
From your name, you seem to be an Italian. Do you speak Mandarin? Or other Chinese dialect?
Regards,
C
Hello C -
In the realm of dreams there are no barriers like in physical reality. That's why you can communicate with the deceased and with animals...even if you don't know the language they carried with them in the tangible world. In "dreamland" all barriers disappear.
Andy
Hi Andy,
Thanks for the insight.
By the way, can you please describe the way you meditate?
Regards,
C
Hello C -
I don't have a step-by-step method for meditation because for me it doesn't work well like that. I have found that when you make meditation too religious or dogmatic, the results become less productive. Many years ago I meditated for 580 straight days at the same time every morning and for very long periods. The things I experienced and the insights I gained was quite amazing. Then I tried using different techniques and different times of the day to meditate and it was then that things started to really open up. I found that this unstructured spontaneous way produced greater results than my "religious" meditations. I have noticed that you lose something when you try to schedule your meditations. I have many methods and different ones work better for different things. To list them all would not be possible but I will say that one of the best ones is to fast for 5 or 7 straight days with no sleep for the first 2 of those days. The fast includes no food and no speaking. You will become very weak and hazy and quite receptive to various vibrations of consciousness. I can promise you'll see reality in a completely different way. I have made some of my greatest breakthroughs using this method.
Take Care
Andy
