This method is using Li Chun (Spring Begins) as the starting point of the year. You can also use the solstice as the beginning point and this would make the numbers different. The solstice method I use is one I developed and took several years to complete. It is radically different from the Li Chun method used today, as it reverses the cycles of numbers more often to take into account the yin/yang qi (chi) flow. I believe both methods are valid.
